Happy Diwali to all our Creators!
Hello Folks!
Sending you the heartiest Diwali wishes!
The festive season is here, and the vibe is impeccable as ever. After a year shrouded in uncertainty and chaos, the glow of the diyas and the shimmer of the lights hit a different cord. We are back to normalcy, to the safety of our homes, to the warmth of our parents, and to the familiarity of our friends, there’s new hope and newer enthusiasm surrounding us.
But as creators, founders, solopreneurs, and artists the festive season often turns out to be more hectic than ever. We are torn asunder by our familial obligations and our work deadlines. “How can I post thrice a day, while also helping papa decorate the hall.”, “How will I attend the Diwali party when I also need to go live on my Instagram” and the thoughts and dilemmas go on and on. We are constantly trying to juggle too many things at once. At every second we are calculating opportunity costs, weighing the pros and cons, making and re-making to-do lists. But all in vain! No matter how much we plan and how much we execute, we end up feeling guilty, exhausted, and unsatisfied.
So what should we do?
Learn to live in the present, stop worrying about the algorithm. Take a complete break from your work, it’s okay if you don’t post anything for the next 2 days. No one will forget your presence, you won’t hamper your timeline or your following. Rather, it is crucial for your wellbeing that you tune off your work and enjoy these couple of days with family and friends.
This Diwali, gift yourself the space to breathe and relax, eat, dance, play, have loads of food, and just enjoy the festivities and the people around you. You deserve it.
